I am a professional photographer residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My specialty is contemporary lifestyle photojournalism, which combines elements of photojournalism, fashion and editorial photography. I have won international awards for my wedding photography, and have travelled to Hawaii, Cuba, the Rockies and Mexico to photograph weddings. I love documenting the love of a couple and the relationships with their family and friends. Check out the work, and let me know what you think.
It has been a bit of a crazy couple of months, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I recently had the opportunity to do a really "cool" shoot in Churchill, Manitoba - the Polar Bear Capital of the World.
I thought I would post a few of the images - (no photographers were harmed in the making of these images...)
I had the great honor of travelling with Sylvie and Randy to their fantastic destination wedding in Cuba. Together with 27 of their closest friends and family, I had a great time photographing, dancing and celebrating their love. A special thanks to all who made me feel so welcome, and to Eleanor and Henry (who I photographed last year) for the referral. I had an amazing time with everyone, and the images speak to how great this couple are together. I wish you all the best as you begin your journey together. Enjoy the preview.
I always love working in the fall, because of the colors and the amazing light that happens at this time of year. Tiffany and Kyle are a really cool couple that were married in a quaint church in Inglewood. The light coming in that day was pure magic, and the day flowed perfectly smoothly, despite a bit of chilly weather. They were troopers, and we got some really cool images. We finished off with a great party at Heritage Park.
My weekend in the mountains continued with another really fun and easy going couple. Christie and Jordan are so casual and laid back and were all about just being with each other. They were married at the beautiful Buffalo Mountain Lodge and we went out to a really cool lake nearby to photograph them with their bridal party (and his car of course). It was a bit overcast, and the colors were out of this world. Thanks again for choosing me to be a part of your great day. I wish you nothing but the best.
